A 21-year-old construction worker was killed when a Bobcat loader, operating on loose soil, rolled backwards over a 70-foot (21-meter) cliff into a rocky ravine.
The driver restraint was bypassed or not operating, and no seat belt was worn. The rollover bars on the Bobcat were intact after the fall. The victim was thrown out of the machine.
