NO INJURIES AFTER A SCHOOL BUS BACKS INTO A POLE ON FORD ROAD
A school bus backing up onto Ford Road from Lucas Court struck a utility pole Friday afternoon, causing it to crack in two and fall on the bus.
Michael Bridge, LifeCare Ambulance supervisor said everyone is ok. “There were about 10 students on board along with the driver and attendant. Most of the kids have been picked up by their parents already and are all fine.”
While waiting for their parents, some students sat in cars, including a police car, to warm up while others used the time to throw some snowballs.
Ohio Edison was dispatched and on scene in about 30 minutes to make repairs and get the power back on for the neighborhood.
