The guy working on under this mower doesn’t appear to have any trust issues. He seems to trust that the:
- Slings will hold the mower.
- Driver of the Bobcat won’t accidently use the wrong controls and either send the mower crashing down or run him over.
- Hydraulics won’t fail.
- Wind and weather will cooperate and not send the mower swinging into the side of his head.
You probably already know that you should never put yourself under a suspended load. Never. It’s not safe. There are simply too many things that could go wrong. And when working on equipment, even a relatively “small” piece like this mower, the use of proper and safe means to lift and secure it is essential in preventing struck-by and caught-between injuries.
