The first few minutes are important for the survival of any accident victim. If you can provide prompt and proper first aid while waiting for medical assistance to arrive, you greatly increase your co-worker's chance for a complete recovery.
Nearly any worker could encounter bloodborne pathogens -whether bandaging a co-worker's cut, stepping on a used hypodermic needle in the alley or helping an accident victim on the way home.
Maintenance workers need to know about a broader range of safety issues than probably anyone else in the workplace.

There???s nothing wrong with using a fun approach to learning about hazards, even those as deadly as bloodborne pathogens. So see if you can puzzle out the words.
